Upcoming EventsIt’s nesting season for many birds, so we’ll be celebrating our fabulous feathered-friends today with a bird-inspired treasure hunt around the park. We will be practising our map-reading to navigate our way around the clues and answering questions or doing tasks to win ‘eggs’ that will need to be carefully brought back to the team nest!
After lunch we’ll set about making our own nests to take home – but what makes a good nest? Looking at different examples of real nests found in the park, we’ll be exploring what materials the woodland has to offer so our budding ornithologists can make a 5-star home for chicks.
