Upcoming EventsWe start the day by walking through the sheep flock to Thirsk Bowmen’s archery range, which is based at Baldersby Park. These archers are passionate about shooting arrows and offer expert and fun instruction for everyone, with additional challenge for those with a little more experience. This is the real deal - no sticks with suckers on, here!
After lunch, we head into the woods to get creative and design dens and shelters for our favourite Halloween character. Can you make a den fit for witch - where should her cauldron go? A lair for a dragon -will you need fire extinguishers? Or a shelter for a zombie - what sort of bed would they have? Using our dedicated den building area with heaps of branches and sticks on offer, as well as paracords, tarps and groundsheets we have all we need to make the craziest of dens!
*Warm drinks and homemade snacks will be included.
