Upcoming EventsRiver Mountain Experience return once more to Baldersby Park’s Lake this summer. Instructor, David, will provide us with all the basic knowledge in this fun session to gain our British Canoeing Start Award. You’ll leave the water knowing how to get in and out of a boat safely, make it move and return to a start point. You’ll also leave having played lots of games that involve rubber ducks and racing around the islands in the middle of the lake!
In contrast to all that excitement, Myra, our Forest School Leader, will be teaching us the ancient craft of willow-weaving. Sitting in our log circle listening to the birds singing and leaves blowing gently in the breeze, Myra will help us create decorative shapes and animals for us to take home.
